The opening round of the 2026 Killarney Drag Day series on Saturday 14 February November will see a number of new combinations making their debut to challenge the reigning champions in both two and four-wheeled classes.
It’s unpredictable and exciting, with lots of unknown factors and a few big surprises in store, on a full day of American-style Drag Racing with huge burnouts and high-adrenalin runs.
WHEN: Saturday 14 February: 9:00am – 5:00pm
HOW MUCH:
WEBTICKETS: Adults R100, under-16s R10, under-12s free
AT THE GATE: Adults R130, under-16s R20, under-12s free
Killarney’s Drag Days are all about purpose built drag racers, lightweight bodies fitted with highly modified, insanely powerful engines and huge ultra-soft ‘wrinkly’ tyres.
But there are classes for everything, including superbikes and street cars, so you’re guaranteed a full day of straight-line action.
But wait, as they say, there’s more!
Killarney’s first Multiplex event of the year also includes Short Circuit Racing and Rallycross – all on the same ticket!
And it’s a FAMILY FESTIVAL with kiddies’ play areas, ice-cold beverages and delicious food (including halaal).
